Our Public Sector Group, led by Professor Yemi Osinbajo, S.A.N, a former Attorney-General of Lagos State, designs effective strategies for each engagement and deploys its vast experience, knowledge and relationships in the engagement. Recently, our Public Sector team was involved in structuring the largest bond issue in Sub-Saharan Africa. SCP continues to provide experienced counsel to individuals, government entities, major political parties and associations in intricate and sensitive issues of constitutional law including: civil rights, election law, intergovernmental relations, taxation, public policy and administrative procedure review. Our representation also includes litigation before superior courts. SCP currently represents several State Governments in significant precedential constitutional cases regarding taxation, public health, public revenues, et al.
