Fidel is a thorough-bred litigator. Fidel’s current and most recent engagements include:

• Counsel representing 13 aggrieved ex-staff of the largest indigenous oil and gas Company in Nigeria in a multi-billion naira labor claim at the National Industrial Court. The Suit was eventually settled out-of-Court in a multi-million naira deal.

• Participation in the legal team representing various Stock Broking firms in Nigeria in an ongoing litigation challenging the debtor status of borrowers under the botched Margin Facility scheme.

• Participation in the legal team that successfully represented a sitting Governor of one of the northern States of Nigeria in a multi-billion naira libel Suit, against a prominent media house in Nigeria.

• Participation in the legal team defending several Clients in a multi-jurisdictional, multi-billion naira probate claim.

• Representing Nigeria’s monetary regulator in lawsuits bordering on review of its intervention in some banks
